Force of Will

Cream of the crop...the most expensive card I've altered to date and the first time I really did more than just an extension. This took a damn long time and was nerve wracking...but I'm happy with the result and would attempt something similar again.
For reference, here's the original:

 and here is mine:

Spitting Image

Commission 2/3 for the USA guy. I really liked doing this one and it features some of my best colour matching to date.

Coalition Relic

One of three pieces done as part of a commission for a guy in the states. Straight forward, but looks pretty cool.

Coconut Island

This one was done in an afternoon leading up to a local event and I gave it to the store to hand out as a door prize. I scrubbed out however and have never seen the lucky nerdling that took it home. Bollocks.

Child of Alara

EDH General for a guy at my local nerdopolis. Turned out pretty well...few things I would do differently next time though  =op

Bestial Menace

Funny little thing done for the mtgsalvation forums contest with pokemon theme.

Omnath, Locus of Mana

Omnath was done for my buddy Sean who is planning on making an EDH deck with Omnath as the general.
I probably only spent about 2 hours on this one, which was nice for a change.

Spellstutter Sprite

This one was done at the beginning of my altering career as a gift for a friend. I think it was my third card painted, and it turned out really well! I definitely notice that it's a little blotchy compared to my more current stuff. But overall, its probably one that people seem to like the most for some reason.

Tooth and Nail

#3 of the set of commissions for the same guy...the most difficult. I spent probably about a month working on this one (and another of the same card for a local player).
I'd get everything ready to sit down and paint...then put it all away again as I was discouraged by the difficulty.
When I finally sat down and spent some time on them, it started really coming together and I'm pleased with the results....a few things I'd change now that I look at them again....

Altar of Shadows

Second of a set of commissions, very simple border work, so I added the additional tube/hose thingy to liven it up a little.

Noble Hierarch

One of a set of commissions, really happy with how this one turned out.
